RUDE BOY
Drawing inspiration from the vibrant Jazz and Ska scene, Rude Boy styling and culture epitomize a fusion of historical roots and contemporary flair. Delving into extensive historical research, uncovering the essence of this iconic movement, characterised by sharp tailoring, bold patterns, and a rebellious attitude. At the crossroads of past and present, modern-day styling infuses traditional elements with a fresh perspective, reimagining classic silhouettes with a contemporary twist. Through meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for authenticity, Rude Boy culture continues to evolve, seamlessly blending nostalgia with innovation, and leaving an indelible mark on the fashion landscape.
SUPER HEROES
For my final project at the London College of Fashion, I embarked on a daring exploration at the intersection of haute couture and superhero aesthetics. Inspired by the dynamic world of comic book heroes, my vision soared beyond conventional boundaries, merging the impeccable craftsmanship of traditional tailoring with the audacious flair of superhero costumes. Each stitch I meticulously crafted garments that seamlessly blended the elegance of fine tailoring with the bold, extravagant designs synonymous with iconic superheroes. Drawing upon your expertise in tailoring techniques and design principles, I breathed life into creations that exuded power, mystique, and a hint of otherworldly charm. Through my innovative approach, I redefined the concept of sartorial heroism, leaving an unforgettable mark on the fashion landscape.
